Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <40 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Hackensack Meridian Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:- Ventilator set-up.

Preferred Skills/Experience:- 2 years of experience preferred.

Required Credentials:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.

Special Requests:- Failed fit tests due to facial hair and inability to shave automatically disqualify the clinician from proceeding.

Unit Details:- Provides respiratory care therapy and supportive equipment for hospital patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.- Intubation assistance.- Patient-specific disease education, testing, and consultation with other health care professionals.

Shift & Scheduling:- Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required.- Weekend and holiday requirements are as needed.- No on-call requirement.

7 days maximum time off

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
