We’re working with a leading veterinary hospital in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, that is seeking a dedicated Medical Director to join its team. The practice provides world-class veterinary medicine with advanced technology, modern facilities, and a highly skilled, collaborative staff. The Medical Director will lead, mentor, and support the veterinary team while delivering exceptional care to patients.
Position Overview
The Medical Director reports to the field management team and oversees medical quality, patient outcomes, and the overall clinical performance of all doctors. This key leadership role also contributes to the hospital’s strategic planning and operational success. Approximately 30% of the role focuses on leadership responsibilities, with 70% dedicated to clinical duties as a staff veterinarian.

Large practice with skilled support staff
Advanced diagnostic and therapeutic tools including digital and dental radiology, ultrasound, EMR, lasers, acupuncture, and cryotherapy

Schedule
Full-time or part-time positions available
Flexible schedule with rotating Saturdays (open until 1:00 pm)
Hours of operation:
Monday–Thursday: 8:00 am – 7:30 pm
Friday: 8:00 am – 3:30 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

100% small animal, with potential opportunities for veterinarians with exotic animal experience

Compensation
Annual salary range: $160,000 – $180,000 (negotiable based on experience and credentials)

Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university
Licensure in good standing to practice in New Jersey (or ability to obtain)
