Overnight Production Pharmacy Technician Cherry Hill, New Jersey
A closed-door, long-term care facility is seeking two dedicated overnight Production Pharmacy Technicians to support their medication preparation and inventory management. This direct hire opportunity offers a consistent 4x10 hour overnight schedule, providing stability and focus for candidates with pharmacy technician experience.
Schedule:
- Sunday to Wednesday, 9:00 PM 7:00 AM (one position)
- Wednesday to Saturday, 9:00 PM 7:00 AM (one position)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare medications accurately in unit-dose or blister pack formats for timely delivery to residents.
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while monitoring storage conditions and expiration dates.
- Maintain precise patient and medication records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Operate within a production environment handling approximately 600 prescriptions daily.
- Utilize the Frameworks software system; training is available for candidates unfamiliar with this platform.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician in a relevant setting.
- NJ State Pharmacy Technician license preferred but not required.
- PTCB certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities during overnight shifts.
