Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating material lists, ordering materials, and efficiently utilizing a tablet to manage these tasks. This role involves steam fitting, copper pipe installation, HVAC pipe installation, and working with various piping systems, including threaded and groove pipes.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage material lists and order necessary materials.
• Install steam, copper, black, and HVAC pipes.
• Conduct brazing, soldering, and threading of pipes.
• Read and interpret HVAC blueprints for installation projects.
• Utilize a 300 machine for pipe installation.
• Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Brazing and soldering of copper pipes.
• Experience with HVAC blueprints and pipe installation.
• Proficiency in threading and installing various types of pipes.
• Ability to use tools such as the 300 machine.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 10/30 certification.
• F60 and G60 certifications are preferred.
• 1-2+ years of experience in HVAC pipefitting.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Employees must have all necessary certifications and personal protective equipment (PPE) on them at all times. The work is conducted locally in New Jersey, ensuring a consistent routine without long-distance travel.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montville, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
