Job Title: AP Specialist - Manufacturing
Location: Lakewood, NJ

Type: Contract-to-Hire
Hourly Payrate: $30 - $32 per hour
Work Model: Onsite in Lakewood, NJ (100%)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

AP Specialist - Manufacturing Responsibilities:

• Owns 100% of Accounts Payable (AP) life cycle
• Owns all aspects of Accounts Payable including entering data, uploading invoices, vendor communication, preparing and processing check runs, etc.
• Verifies all invoices
• Bank account and credit card reconciliations
• Sets up new vendors in ERP, establishes and maintains contact/relationship
• Provides supporting documentation for audits
• Generate ad hoc reports when needed
• Participate in month end closing process

AP Specialist - Manufacturing Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Advanced schooling, training or certification is desirable but not required
• At least six (6) years of professional accounting experience, preferably focused within AP
• Strong MS Excel skills including prior experience using formulas, existing pivot tables, v-Look-ups, etc.
• Prior ERP software experience is required. We currently implementing new software. This new hire will participate in the transition process and will be asked for "user" input along the way.
