Northeast Precast is a growing precast concrete manufacturer specializing in the design and production of structural concrete components. With a strong reputation for quality and service, the company delivers complex projects while maintaining a team-focused culture built on integrity and collaboration.

What You'll Do as a Bilingual Plant Safety Coordinator:

  • Work with management and employees to identify safety hazards and implement practical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, DEP, and company safety standards in a precast concrete manufacturing environment.
  • Deliver engaging safety presentations for orientations, ongoing training, and plant-wide meetings in both English and Spanish.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across plant operations.
  • Track corrective actions to completion and follow up with responsible team members.
  • Maintain accurate records for OSHA documentation, training, incidents, and corrective actions.
  • Assist with accident, injury, and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate & support safety training for production, yard, and maintenance teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety performance and strengthen plant safety culture.

 

Our Ideal Bilingual Plant Safety Coordinator:

  • Experience: 2+ years of safety experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial settings required. Bilingual Spanish/English required. Knowledge of OSHA regulations required; OSHA 10 or 30 a plus. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong Communicator: Leads safety orientations and training, addresses issues directly, and speaks up when standards fall short.
  • Organized & Detailed: Maintains accurate documentation, tracks corrective actions, and manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independent & Collaborative: Works well on their own and in partnership with management and production teams.
  • Hands-on Problem Solver: Engages on the floor, demonstrates proper safety practices, and addresses hazards proactively.
  • Computer Proficient: Comfortable using Word, Excel, and safety tracking systems.
  • Active: Able to bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.

  • $22-$30/hour, depending on experience
