Quality Assurance Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid) . Responsibilities include developing test plans and strategies, performing E2E and regression testing, and utilizing automation tools for efficient testing.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $51/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Quality Assurance Consultant job responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing test plans, strategies, and scripts for functional, regression, and E2E testing.

• Automating test cases using tools like TOSCA and performing ETL testing with advanced SQL queries.

• Collaborating with Agile teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality deliverables.

• Providing expertise in ADA testing, test environment setup, and defect management.

• Supporting the development of automation frameworks and improving overall test efficiency and effectiveness.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on functional and automation testing.

• Proficiency in automation testing tools, particularly TOSCA, and experience with ETL and SQL testing.

• Experience working in Agile environments with knowledge of DevOps practices is highly preferred.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $51.00 per hour
