Looking to begin or expand your teaching career? Horizon Staffing Resources has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Language Disabilities Special Education Teacher in Bridgeton, NJ!

The Special Education Teacher will work with children in a Learning and Language Disabilities classroom, serving students whose primary challenges are in language processing and academic skills (reading, writing, math). The classroom setting may incorporate specialized instruction, small group learning, and multi-sensory approaches to cater to each specific learner.

The Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30am to 3:30pm

The Responsibilities:

• Instructional Planning: develop and implement specialized instruction to address the unique needs of students with learning and/or language disabilities
• Assessment and Evaluation: conduct assessments, testing, and diagnostic examinations to identify learning issues and monitor student progress, to inform instruction and adjust IEPs
• IEP Development and Implementation: participate in meetings, assist in developing IEPs, and ensure that IEP goals are implemented in the classroom
• Classroom Management: create and maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and student engagement
• Collaboration: work with general education teachers, support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure that students' needs are met and that they have a positive and successful learning experience

What’s Required:

• Bachelor’s degree with passing Praxis Exam
• NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification
