About the Position
Shift Information
Primary Shift:
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12‑hour Night Shifts)
Days Per Week:
3 shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
Shift Type:
PM / Night Shift
Guaranteed Hours:
Yes – 36 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Collect complete health history from patient, family, and medical records.
- Perform and document admission assessments within required timelines.
- Complete Braden Scale accurately and reassess patient needs regularly.
- Develop individualized, age‑appropriate plans of care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Update and revise care plans based on changes in patient condition.
- Prioritize and perform direct patient care safely and effectively.
- Delegate tasks appropriately according to caregiver skill level.
- Coordinate care using an interdisciplinary approach.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications
- Valid NJ RN License (Required)
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Required
- PCCN – Preferred
Experience
- 1–2 years experience in Cardiac/Telemetry
- 1–2 years Acute Care experience
- Proficiency in basic dysrhythmia interpretation
Education
- BSN preferred; or currently enrolled in a BSN program.
