Dental Assistant
Dental Assistant (DA).
Location: Jersey City.
Salary Range: $20–$26 per hour.
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 11:00am–7:00pm.
- Friday: 8:00am–3:00pm (every other week, alternating with Saturday).
- Saturday: 8:00am–2:00pm (every other week, alternating with Friday).
Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join their growing practice in Jersey City, NJ. This role is ideal for a team-oriented professional who is comfortable with an afternoon-focused weekday schedule and rotating weekend availability.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures.
- Prepare and break down operatories.
- Take dental radiographs (X-ray certification required).
- Maintain sterilization and infection control standards.
- Ensure accurate patient charting and documentation.
- Provide excellent patient care and chairside support.
- Support overall clinical flow and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Prior dental assisting experience preferred.
- Active X-ray certification required.
- Weekend availability required (alternating Fridays/Saturdays).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive and professional attitude.
