Bridal qc Specialist / Pick-up & Try-on Specialist
- Inspect all incoming bridal gowns and accessories for accuracy, quality, and condition.
- Verify gown size, style, color, any customizations and designer information against original order.
- Confirm that all accessories (veil, belt, overskirt, straps, etc.) are included and correct.
- Document and report any defects, missing items, or discrepancies to management immediately.
- Properly steam, prep, and store gowns before pick-up appointments.
- Schedule and prepare fitting rooms with the bride’s gown and accessories prior to her arrival.
- Assist the bride in trying on her gown for the first time following delivery to the store.
- Provide support with fastening, adjusting, and styling the gown to ensure proper initial fit.
- Review next steps for alterations and answer questions regarding tailoring timelines or recommendations.
- Ensure the bride signs off on gown condition and accuracy before taking it home or leaving it for alterations.
- Deliver an exceptional, welcoming, and personalized experience during pick-up appointments.
- Offer styling guidance and recommend accessories that complement the bride’s gown and vision.
- Assist brides in purchasing additional accessories, including veils, jewelry, hairpieces, and more.
- Maintain a knowledgeable understanding of current bridal fashion trends and accessory options.
- Communicate clearly and kindly, always supporting a positive, stress-free bridal journey.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation in gown pick-up areas and fitting rooms.
- Collaborate with stylists, alterations teams, and management to ensure seamless customer handoffs.
- Participate in team meetings, product training, and ongoing customer service development.
- Prior experience in bridal, fashion retail, or customer service preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Ability to handle delicate garments with care.
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort with occasional lifting, gown handling, and standing for extended periods.
