Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification and School SLP credentials to support elementary students on a leave coverage contract. This role is based in Newark, NJ, and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in young learners' communication development within an elementary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students' needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in individual and small group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with educational and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and update progress reports as necessary

Desired Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Valid School Speech-Language Pathologist certification/license
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with educational laws and individualized education programs (IEPs)
