Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist providing telehealth services to students in Newark, NJ. This role involves delivering psychological assessments, counseling, and support remotely to address the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of school-aged children.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive telehealth psychological evaluations and assessments.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention via virtual platforms.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and legal guidelines.
- Participating in meetings and consultations to support student well-being and academic success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience delivering telehealth services in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, families, and school personnel virtually.
- Ability to manage caseload and meet deadlines independently.
