A Day in the Life
As a Sourcing Manager for Retail & Promo , you will be a key partner in our Operations team, reporting to the Director of Indirect Sourcing. You will drive our sourcing strategy for retail and promotional materials, building strong supplier relationships and ensuring we achieve our financial and sustainability goals.
- Strategic Partnership : You will develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, becoming a valued partner who influences business decisions and translates global category strategies to meet local needs.
- Supplier & Category Management: You will own and develop a robust supplier base, leading RFPs, and negotiating contracts that deliver the best value and performance through a total cost of ownership approach.
- Performance & Analytics: You will manage and consolidate category spend analytics, creating clear reports that tell a story with data and track performance against key KPIs you help build.
- Innovation & Efficiency: You will proactively identify new trends, bring efficiencies to your category, and contribute to global initiatives by sharing insights and best practices with our international teams.
What We Are Looking For
You are a strategic thinker with a talent for building relationships and driving results. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are skilled at turning data into actionable insights. You have:
- Proven experience in sourcing, preferably with a focus on retail, POS/temporary displays, or print.
- Exceptional Negotiation skills with a track record of successfully managing contracts and RFPs.
- Strong Project Management capabilities, able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Excellent Stakeholder Management and communication skills, with the ability to present compelling arguments.
- Adept in Strategic Sourcing and Data Analysis, with the ability to see the bigger picture while managing details.
- Bachelor’s degree or greater in related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in Sourcing; preferably in Retail, POS/Temporary displays and/or print
- Exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of SRM/SAP systems (optional)
