Social Media Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Social Media Manager is responsible for designing and executing social media strategy to drive brand awareness and engagement. This will be done in collaboration with our content creators and marketing team to create a presence that facilitates converting community members into leads.

We are the Driving Academy, we provide affordable, state-approved classroom and behind-the-wheel lessons for aspiring truck (aka commercial driver's license [CDL]) drivers, and we are growing by the day. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Develops and executes engagement and social media marketing strategies
- Develops and adheres to posting schedule for all social media platforms
- Creates engaging titles and descriptions for content to drive engagement
- Oversees community engagement activities (e.g. replying to comments, administer polls, etc.)
- Collaborates with content creation team to ensure media aligns with organization's social media objectives and quality standards
- Coordinates with external stakeholders for matters related to sponsorship or collaborations
- Identifies topics and media subject matter
- Monitors and reports on KPIs and performance metrics across all platforms
- Monitor key trends and changes to media platforms to ensure continued reach
- Other duties as assigned

- Detailed knowledge of best practices across multiple social media systems
- Detailed knowledge of social media strategies

- Strong analytical skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
- Two or more years of relevant experience required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, speaking, walking, driving, writing, and/or sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at a time
