- Develop customized training programs tailored to each members goals, fitness level, and health history
- Conduct fitness consultations and assessments
- Demonstrate safe and effective use of strength and cardio equipment
- Lead one on one and small group training sessions with energy and enthusiasm
- Track and monitor client progress, adjusting programs to maximize results
- Educate members on anatomy, body mechanics, nutrition basics, and healthy lifestyle habits
- Actively promote personal training packages and fitness programs
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and motivating club atmosphere
- Support membership growth through relationship building and referrals
- Current Personal Training certification from an accredited organization such as NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA or equivalent. (If not yet completed, you must obtain an accredited certification with 90-days of hire.)
- CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain after employment
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and program design
- Experience working with diverse fitness levels and age groups
- Confidence leading both individual and small group sessions
- High energy, outgoing personality, and strong interpersonal skills
- Sales confidence and ability to build and maintain a client base
- Self motivated with a strong work ethic
