Senior Traffic Engineer

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Traffic Engineer in the Transportation Department of our Mount Laurel, NJ, office. The successful candidate will provide traffic analysis and design capabilities and assistance with highway/civil design efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide traffic signal/electrical designs
• Perform intersection and roadway capacity analyses using HCS, Synchro, and SimTraffic software
• Perform crash and Highway Safety Manual analyses
• Provide design and development of conceptual construction staging alternatives and development of traffic control and traffic signing and striping plans
• Provide Staffing Augmentation Services for various State and Municipal clients
• Assist in proposal writing and business development efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
• PE license
• Six to fifteen years of experience
• NJDOT Signal Design experience
• Traffic analysis experience
• Able to create a professional deliverable using client standards
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
