Inventory Picker
Location: Butler, New Jersey Type: Contract
Compensation: $18/Hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 7a-3:30p, M-F
SUMMARY:
The Inventory Picker is primarily responsible for the day-to-day picking of orders, updating order systems, and returning items to stock in the inventory area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily picking of component parts for customer work orders
- Input and monitor inventory information in tablet and/or compute
- Ensure parts are returned to their proper stocking location
- Ensure picked orders are delivered to appropriate areas
- Report inventory shortages to the Inventory Supervisor immediately
- Investigate inventory discrepancies when requested
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math (measuring, use of calculator)
- Ability to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written and verbal instructions
- Ability to use weight scales
- Must frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and talk/hear
- Noise level is usually moderate for a manufacturing plant
