What are the maintenance associate responsibilities?As a Maintenance Associate at BNE Real Estate Group, you will play a crucial role in the daily upkeep of our community in Teaneck, New Jersey. Your responsibilities will include executing work orders promptly and efficiently, ensuring all maintenance operations run smoothly. You'll perform routine maintenance tasks and conduct daily inspections of the property, identifying any potential issues before they escalate. This hands-on position requires a strong commitment to safety and organization, as you work to maintain a welcoming environment for residents and uphold the high standards of our customer-centric culture. Your expertise will directly contribute to the overall satisfaction of our community!
Are you the Match?To excel as a Maintenance Associate at BNE Real Estate Group, candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of experience in property management or relevant maintenance fields. Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Yardi, is essential for effective communication and task management. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, coupled with strong organizational skills and excellent time management, will help you succeed in this fast-paced role. Knowledge of property management regulations and laws is crucial for compliance, as is a strong customer service orientation to ensure resident satisfaction.
Additionally, candidates should be prepared to work in varying environmental conditions, maintain punctual attendance, and participate in the emergency on-call program (rotating) . A valid Driver's License is also required.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm; on-call (rotation) required
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years' experience in property management and or other relevant maintenance fields
- Proficient in computer programs including Microsoft Office and Yardi
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Well organized with excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of regulations and laws regarding property management
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Work overtime hours as required to complete assignments/projects
- Work in cold/hot/dusty/loud environment
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Strong customer service orientation
- Valid Driver's License
