Assistant Supervisor - Day Habilitation Services (Lakewood)

Join our team as an Assistant Supervisor supporting adults with developmental disabilities at our Lakewood Adult Training Center and affiliated community-based program sites. In this role, you will contribute to the daily coordination of program activities, provide hands-on vocational and life skills instruction, and support individuals in building greater independence and community participation.

This position also includes oversight responsibilities such as guiding and supporting staff, helping ensure adherence to individualized service plans, monitoring documentation accuracy, and assisting with the implementation of employment-focused and skill-building programming.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities, along with the capacity to work collaboratively with participants, families, community partners, and funding or regulatory agencies.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Pay: $25.50/hour, paid bi-weekly, with overtime availability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Special Education, or a closely related field
• At least two years of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities in a direct service or program setting
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing, with no more than five points
• Demonstrated ability to oversee, coordinate, and support daily program operations, including staff supervision
• Must meet all pre-employment requirements and comply with ongoing drug screening policies as required
