Position Summary
As a Subaru Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction through your technical expertise and work ethic. You will be responsible for troubleshooting vehicle issues accurately, maintaining quality service delivery, and contributing to department goals.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot customer concerns using current technical tools and systems.
- Assist as a secondary greeter for customers near the Service Drive to provide excellent customer service.
- Stay updated with technical publications, Service Comm, and Asist terminal operations.
- Deliver vehicle services safely and correctly the first time.
- Resolve all original customer concerns before addressing additional service opportunities.
- Inspect vehicles for maintenance and repair needs following factory and local recommendations.
- Ensure vehicles are returned to customers clean and in excellent condition.
- Participate in factory and in-house training programs to enhance skills.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and attach necessary documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, or Group Leader.
- Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and wear a clean uniform at all times.
Work Hours
This is a full-time position with standard dealership hours. Specific scheduling will be discussed during the interview process.

- Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions accurately.
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Education and Training
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to participate in factory training programs to advance technical expertise.
