The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Responsible for the total cold food production for patient's food service using standardized recipes based on standardized portion sizes. Sanitation of the cold production area is maintained on a daily basis to ensure compliance with Department of Health policies and procedures. All floors, tables, counters, and sinks are cleaned and sanitized at the end of each shift according to the department's standards. All food carts are properly cleaned and sanitized as needed. Prepares total cold food production for patient meal service using standardized recipes based on standardized portion sizes. Prepares and assembles all platters according to diet and diagram. Prepares and assembles all desserts needed for service. Prepares all small salads and small desserts for room service. Responsible for the preparation of all salads, jellos, custards, and pudding needed for the following day's meal.

Qualifications

Required

• Prior food preparation experience
• Knowledge of Sanitation and Safety Standards

Scheduling Requirements

• Shift working 11:00am-7:30pm
• Monday-Friday every other weekend and a rotation of holidays
