We operate 3-shifts 24/hours Monday-Friday. We are seeking experienced mechanics specializing in Food Processing and Packaging machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in: AC and DC motors and wiring, 1 phase vs.3 phases voltage, electrical components, pneumatics, hydraulics, relays, etc. with flexible work schedule, including the ability to work nights, holidays, weekends, and overtime. Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic, system components of all food manufacturing machinery, packaging machinery, and material handling equipment; i.e. baking and popcorn machinery, oil delivery systems, dry powder seasoning distribution systems, chocolate drizzle and enrobing components, sifters, conveyors, hoppers, VFFS bagger equipment, cartoners, air compressor equipment, etc.
- Install, repair, or replace electrical devices such as transformers, relays, circuit breakers, starters, safety and limit switches, AC / DC motors, positive displacement and transfer pumps, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance checklists. And maintain spare parts inventory for manufacturing and packaging equipment and re-order as necessary. Maintain service and repair records.
- Train factory operators on the operation of all food processing and packaging equipment using best practice, safety, and efficiency.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in repairing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintenance, of food processing and packaging equipment in a manufacturing facility (preferably food).
- Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics; instrumentation and sensor calibration; variable frequency drives; AC/DC motors.
- Excellent problem-solving skills; Effective written and verbal communication skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment where a broad range of tasks may be required. And must be able to work in a cold environment and in confined spaces. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must possess a strong safety ethic.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
