UI/UX Developer

Akkodis is seeking a UI/UX Developer for a Contract with a client in Hamilton, NJ. Candidate must have strong capability in designing intuitive UI/UX workflows while transforming them into responsive, user‑centered web interfaces.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

UI/UX Developer job responsibilities include:

• Designs wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that align with user needs and product goals.

• Converts UI concepts into clean, responsive HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript components for seamless functionality.

• Develops modular, reusable SCSS structures—including variables, mixins, and nested styles—to maintain scalable styling.

• Ensures consistent, intuitive user experiences across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.

• Collaborates closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to validate design feasibility and execution.

• Implements usability enhancements by analysing user feedback, analytics, and real‑world interaction patterns.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, or a related field.

• 6–8 years of experience in UI/UX development, including hands‑on work with responsive front‑end interfaces.

• Demonstrated ability to create and translate wireframes, mockups, and prototypes into functional UI using HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript.

• Proven capability in using tools like Figma or Adobe XD and maintaining consistent UI patterns through design systems or style guides.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
