Accounting Specialist - Accounts Payable Focus

Salary: $27-31/hr based on experience
Woods Machinery is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to take ownership of our Accounts Payable process. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys working with high-volume transactions, and takes pride in accuracy and organization.
Primary Responsibilities (Accounts Payable)
- Process and accurately code high-volume vendor invoices
- Manage vendor payments (checks and electronic)
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized and audit-ready records
- Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues
Secondary Responsibilities
- Provide limited support to Accounts Receivable as needed
What Success Looks Like
- Accurate and timely invoice processing
- Clean vendor reconciliations
- Minimal discrepancies and strong documentation
- Responsive vendor communication
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2-5 years of Accounts Payable experience(high-volume preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
