GEI's Bloomfield, NJ office is seeking motivated interns for Summer 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from our team and gain a wide range of experience in the fields of environmental science, geology, or engineering.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

• Assist with analyses and design.
• Perform and observe fieldwork, including observing construction activities.
• Perform computations, prepare spreadsheets, and prepare and edit drawings using AutoCAD.
• Assist with preparing proposals and reports.
• Assist with data management and analysis, and preparation of field documentation and reports.

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuit of a B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental, Civil, Geotechnical, Structural, or Waterfront Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years in a technical degree program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel on assignment, if needed.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to work in the field, as needed.
• Ability to perform field work in active construction sites without restrictions, and in inclement weather, if required.
