Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Hospital Reception in Middletown, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional in a healthcare location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, visitor management practices, and security-related protocols at the front desk.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or access permissions as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry in a courteous, professional manner.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate site contacts when needed.
- Answer questions, provide directions, and support front desk operations while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns within the healthcare location.
- Complete required logs, reports, and/or documentation related to visitor activity, incidents, deliveries, and other front desk responsibilities in accordance with site policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
