The Supervisor is responsible for supervising staff members in the performance of their duties and assisting the PESS Director and Assistant Director in the administration of a 24 hour operation,

The Supervisor is responsible for supervising staff members in the performance of their duties and assisting the PESS Director and Assistant Director in the administration of a 24 hour operation.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related clinical field required
- Certified New Jersey Mental Health Screener or immediately eligible with six months of hire required
- Three years’ experience in a mental health setting, preferably in crisis intervention/emergency services; and two years supervisory experience in a crisis setting.

Essential Functions:
- Assists staff n case management functions when appropriate.
- Brings all unusual situations, incidents, or difficulties encountered in the provision of emergency services to the attention of the Director of Emergency Services or his/her designate.
- Coordinates with the Assistant Director, staff schedules in order to provide 24 hour coverage, seven days per week.
- Provides supervision and reviews client charts for accuracy and completeness and brings any discrepancies to the attention of the department management.
- Supervises and develops the implementation of treatment plans for clients based upon the team assessment.
- Supervises mobile practicum for designated screening centers.
- Supervises the triage of in-coming clients and assigns cases to staff members as appropriate.
