Vice President, Operations

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to oversee the operations of multiple facilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency across diverse locations. The ideal candidate will excel in standardizing and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive consistency and accountability while implementing best practices. Experience with waste management or recycling backgrounds is a must

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement KPIs to monitor throughput, utilization, material yield, and maintenance performance.
• Foster relationships with environmental and safety agencies to maintain compliance.
• Lead productivity and quality enhancement initiatives to boost customer satisfaction.
• Drive financial performance through meticulous budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• Prepare and present detailed operational and financial reports to executive leadership.
• Collaborate with the CEO to execute strategic growth and sustainability plans.
• Build and nurture high-performing teams while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Operations Management; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, recycling, or environmental services.
• Demonstrated success in managing multi-site operations with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in KPI management.
• Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with state and environmental compliance, particularly NJDEP and PADEP, is preferred.

Opportunity Highlights:

This executive leadership position offers a competitive salary range of $210,000 - $245,000, plus a 15% bonus and comprehensive benefits. The role is based in Eatontown, NJ, with responsibilities extending across central and southern NJ locations. This is an exciting opportunity to lead various operational divisions, including C&D Transfer Stations, Recycling, Scrap Metal, Mulch, and RCA Manufacturing, with a data-driven approach and full P&L accountability.
