Job Overview:

To assist the Vice President, Operations in providing a safe workplace environment for patients, staff, and physicians. This role will assist in all aspects of large-scale hospital initiatives and manage daily progress towards goals and key metrics.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 10+ years in a director or managerial position working in the healthcare industry

Preferred:

  • Project management experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience and certifications in Security & Emergency Management

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Day Shift - 7:30am to 4pm
  • Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

  • The Administrative Director, Operations is responsible for providing support to all support services departments within the hospital and at off-site locations
  • This role will serve as the liaison to all patient support services department including Environmental Services, Patient Transport, Laundry and Linen Services, and Food and Nutrition
  • The Administrative Director, Operations will also have oversight of Security, Emergency Management, and Supply Chain operations at the hospital level
  • This role will serve as a co-chair of the Emergency Management Committee, the Workplace Violence Committee, and the Environment of Care Committee
  • As part of this role, the Administrative Director, Operations will be involved in space planning, special events, capital review and purchasing, and multi-departmental projects
  • This role will also collaborate with Facilities and Construction personnel to assist in any modifications made to the facility
  • This role will collaborate with both clinical and non-clinical departments to ensure a safe environment
  • This role will avail himself/herself in emergency situations and/or as required by hospital operations
  • This role will maintain established hospital and departmental objectives, policies and procedures.
  • This role will participate in “On-Call” rotation with leadership
