Maintenance Manager

Join our team as a Maintenance Manager! We are looking for a hands-on leader to head our maintenance department in a high-volume food manufacturer focused on baked goods. You’ll be the backbone of our operation—ensuring our mixers, ovens, and packaging lines run at peak efficiency while championing a culture of safety and food quality. This is a first-shift role that offers the chance to drive real improvements, manage capital projects, and lead a vital part of our production success.

salary: $115,000 - $137,000 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Team: Manage, coach, and schedule 6 maintenance mechanics. Keep the team accountable and focused on safety.

• Fix & Prevent: Oversee repairs on mixers, industrial ovens, conveyors, and packaging gear. Drive the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to cut down on emergency breaks.

• Rapid Response: Be the go-to for major breakdowns. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical (PLC) issues to get us back online fast.

• Manage the Shop: Track work orders in the CMMS, manage the parts inventory, and handle the maintenance budget/vendors.

• Compliance: Ensure all work follows OSHA (LOTO) and Food Safety (GMP/SQF) rules. Keep the facility audit-ready at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in industrial maintenance (Food/Bakery preferred) with 2+ years in a leadership role.

• Technical: Skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
