Assistant Director- Residential Services

We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Residential Services to lead and manage multiple residential programs that provide care to individuals with disabilities and medical needs in Ocean County. This role involves supervising Residence Managers and their staff, collaborating with nursing personnel, overseeing daily residential operations, assisting with Individual Service Plan development, and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Compensation: $70,000 Annual Salary, paid bi-weekly.

Schedule: Flexible work hours typically from 10am to 6pm, with a minimum of 15 hours per week spent on-site with staff and residents. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation for emergency coverage as necessary.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills to effectively engage with staff, families, guardians, funding sources, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include staff evaluation, recruitment support, and scheduling oversight for community residences.

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License with no more than five points
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in developmental disabilities
• Proven success managing residential programs for adults with developmental disabilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Special Education, or a related field
