Truck Driver

Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen is looking for a Regional/OTR Class A Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Linden, NJ. Must have valid Passport and willing to travel to Canada. Will service SK branches in North East part of country, including states. NJ, NY, PA, VA, MD, VT, RI, MA, WV, Canada Provinces, ON, and QC. Company driver with assigned tractor, willing to stay out potentially 4 days a week or less. $28-30 hourly. Pump and hose work experience a plus. Must be willing to perform physically tasks with hazardous material. Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment Group 401K with company matching component Own Part of the Company with our Employee Stock Purchase Plan Paid time off, company paid training, and tuition reimbursement Positive and safe work environments RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times Operates tractor trailer tanker units Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports QUALIFICATIONS Class A CDL Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience Minimum 3 months of tanker experience HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements Ability to climb and work from heights Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software For additional information about driver career opportunities, please call us at 72-Drive ).
