Diesel Technician

Job Description: Technical or advanced degree or 1-2+ years of equivalent maintenance experience

NFI Diesel Technician/Mechanic Expectations & Requirements: -

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
• Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors & trailers
• Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
• Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.

NFI Diesel Technician Qualifications: -

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license
• Technical or advanced degree or 1-2+ years of equivalent maintenance experience
• Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
• Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.
• On-site evaluation with recommended training

Average Pay Range: $30 - $35/ hr -Rate varies and depends on experience level & certifications

Sign-On Bonus: $2,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM- 4:30 PM
