Field Service Technician
Job Title: Lead Electrician – Field Service Technician
Location: Wharton, NJ ( Full relocation assistance is available)
Compensation: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour Employment Type: Direct Hire
This is a first shift position (6:30am - 3:pm) with ample opportunity for overtime (after 8-hour shift). Job Summary : Our client is seeking an experienced Field Technician who installs, aligns, balances and troubleshoots mechanical/electrical such as motors, pumps, fans. Must have experience with equipment sizes over 200HP. Company Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, test, and repair electro-mechanical equipment, ensuring proper operation through startup testing procedures
- Use specialized tools and equipment (e.g., laser alignment, balancing tools, electrical testers) while following safety protocols and wearing proper protective gear
- Maintain a basic understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- A minimum of 3 years' experience troubleshooting and testing electro-mechanical equipment using various methods and testing equipment as described above.
- Experienced in verifying repairs using various stat-up testing procedures.
- preferred level of education/experience: High School diploma plus some high school trade, vocational/technical school, military, or on-the-job machine shop training.
- A proven ability to understand and perform and retain various skill-related training and operational and safety procedures demonstrated by supervisor.
