We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations in Jersey City, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a blend of front-desk coordination, phone support, and administrative tasks. The person in this role will help maintain an efficient workplace by managing communications, updating records, and assisting with general office activities.
Responsibilities:• Manage incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members while providing courteous and attentive service
• Welcome visitors and support front-desk activities to ensure a positive and organized office environment
• Perform a variety of administrative support tasks, including document handling, scheduling assistance, and office coordination
• Enter, update, and maintain information in internal records and databases with a high level of accuracy
• Assist with routine office operations by organizing files, preparing correspondence, and tracking administrative details
• Support team members with day-to-day clerical needs to help keep workflows efficient and well coordinated• Prior experience in an administrative, office support, or receptionist role
• Ability to handle inbound calls professionally and communicate clearly with internal and external contacts
• Strong data entry skills with close attention to accuracy and detail
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a busy office setting
• Proficiency with standard administrative processes and general office tools
• Strong organizational skills and a dependable, service-oriented approach
