Raw Materials Manager Location Hybrid work in Secaucus, NJ :

Key Responsibilities:

Testing & Compliance

• Own all testing processes, including fabric performance, chemical, colorfastness, and fit/wear testing specific to active and intimate apparel.
• Ensure all materials meet internal and external compliance standards (REACH, Prop 65, etc.).
• Coordinate with 3rd party labs and internal QA teams to manage testing schedules and resolve failures.

Cross-Functional Communication

• Serve as the key liaison between mills, factories, customers, and internal cross-functional teams.
• Provide clear and timely communication around development status, material issues, and testing results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve material-related concerns

Raw Material Development & Sourcing

• Source and develop innovative, cost-effective raw materials aligned with seasonal and brand needs across activewear and intimates.
• Partner with design and product development to kick off new fabric development, ensuring aesthetic and performance needs are met.
• Manage mill/vendor relationships and negotiate pricing, lead times, and minimums.
• material-related concerns quickly and effectively.

Product Lifecycle Management

• Maintain accurate raw material records and fabric library

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Apparel, or a related field.
• 5+ years of raw material sourcing experience, with a strong background in activewear and intimates preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of fabric constructions, finishes, and performance properties.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance testing requirements for global markets.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in PLM systems, Excel, and working with overseas vendors.
• This an onsite role, with 5 days in our Secaucus, NJ office

PAY RATE: $100,000/yr-$110,000/yr
