Shaw's Garage in Florham Park, NJ is preparing for a busy winter season by hiring a part-time Snow Equipment Repair Mechanic to maintain and service seasonal equipment and vehicles. If you're experienced with equipment such as snowplows and salt spreaders, we want to hear from you!

This seasonal position runs from September through March and offers a competitive wage of $20-$35/hour , based on qualifications. Normal working hours are from Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm . Depending on workload, overtime or short Saturday shifts may be available. Join us to perform fulfilling mechanical work all winter!

ABOUT YOU

If you're interested in becoming a Snow Equipment Repair Mechanic, you need to meet these qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to diagnose, service, and repair mechanical snow equipment
• Familiarity with equipment brands like Fisher or Western
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to provide basic tools and meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, walking, pushing, and standing for long periods of time

In this part-time role, you spend your days inspecting, troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, installing, and upfitting a wide range of snow equipment, vehicles, and accessories. Collaborating with your repair team, you work on snowplows, flatbed truck bodies, hydraulic lifts, trailer hitches, emergency lighting systems, and more. You can put your problem-solving skills to the test while performing fulfilling hands-on work!
