We are looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Parsippany, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounts payable and SAP systems. The role requires working onsite and contributing to the seamless management of financial operations.
Responsibilities:• Process and manage accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
• Utilize SAP software to record and reconcile financial data.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies for all invoices.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies and maintaining vendor relationships.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial close processes.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows.
• Generate periodic reports related to accounts payable activities.
• Contribute to audits by providing required documentation and insights.
• Maintain organized records for easy retrieval and reference.
• Uphold confidentiality and accuracy in handling financial information.• Familiarity with accounts payable processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in SAP software for financial operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Effective communication skills for vendor and team collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Willingness to work onsite on a permanent basis in Parsippany, New Jersey.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a detail-oriented environment.
