We have a new and exciting position for a Technical Perfumer at our Creative Center in Parsippany, NJ! This role will work within the MANE perfumery organization to perform Technical Perfumery projects which industrialize, optimize, and maintain fragrance formulations for Home Care perfumery products in order to achieve targeted product quality, availability and production cost while complying with regulatory requirements. Re-work of any perfume formulas for line extensions adaptation to technical applications for all home care categories.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Re-work of perfume formulas for Home Care line extensions (candle, wallflower, car membranes etc.) and adaptation to technical applications.

Adapt formulas from any MANE perfumers in the following cases:

• Compliance to Regulatory guidelines, internal and external
• Addition of raw materials for corporate or customer objectives
• Price optimization
• Global PROFOR compliance
• Adaptation of formulas for specification compliance in relation to naturalness (Carbon Renew, Biodegradability, Green Motion™, NOI ISO 16128, Organic, etc.)
• Optimization prior to industrialization
• Optimization of internal bases and formulas for performance, PROFOR & Regulatory compliance, price, etc.
• Technical performance optimization where olfactory balance is required
• Participate in proactive & reactive projects to further formulation technical performance, good formulation practices, formulation engineering, design for category and performance
• Other duties in support of company objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• University degree in Chemistry or related discipline
• Fragrance formulation training
• Overall work experience of at least 5 years in Fragrance manufacturing
• Proven mastery of olfactive raw materials palette and fundamental formulation principles
• Experience in working with diverse cultures and multidiscipline specialists (internal and external)
• Experience in working in complex/matrix organizations
• Mastery in fragrance compounds (formulation knowledge) and fragrance raw materials

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $130,000 to $180,000. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, geographic location, and applicable legal considerations. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is awarded based on both individual and company performance.
