We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Estimator specializing in Commercial Paint and Wall Covering projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in preparing accurate project estimates, managing bid processes, and supporting project planning from inception to completion. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-profile commercial projects, utilizing your expertise in commercial paint estimating to ensure successful project delivery.

Duties

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial painting and wall covering projects using industry-standard tools such as plan swift & togal.ai
• Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine scope of work and identify potential challenges or cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts that align with project budgets and timelines.
• Develop comprehensive bid proposals, including pricing, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions, verify measurements, and gather relevant data for accurate estimating.
• Monitor project costs throughout the bidding process and provide recommendations for cost control measures.
• Assist in contract negotiations and manage relationships with stakeholders to ensure clarity of scope and expectations.
• Coordinate with construction management teams to align estimates with project execution plans.
• Maintain organized records of all estimating documentation for future reference and audits.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction estimating within the commercial painting or wall covering industry. (ATLEAST 3-5 YEARS EXPIERENCE IN COMMERICAL PAINT ESTIMATING.)
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Plan Swift, Bluebeam).
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to calculate accurate cost estimates.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• - Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., Certified Estimating Professional) are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, contracts, and project lifecycle processes.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to perform accurate pricing analysis and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with construction site safety standards and regulations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about delivering high-quality commercial projects through precise estimation and effective project management strategies.
