Field Technician
swissQprint, a leading manufacturer of high-precision UV LED flatbed and roll-to-roll printers, is seeking a Service Technician to join our growing team. Our Service Technicians are accountable for the proper installation and maintenance of swissQprint printers and are relied upon by customers for their technical mastery and professionalism. This is a fast paced and dynamic role within our organization and offers opportunity for advancement. The ideal candidate will be naturally curious, technically sound, ambitious to learn, a team player, a bit adventurous and have a good customer demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and service (repairing and maintaining) of our UV-flatbed and roll-to-roll printers in the U.S. (travel time may range from 40% to 75%)
- Organizing travel arrangements to customers
- Providing hotline support when not traveling via phone, email, or Team viewer
- Working together with 2nd level support and engineering in Switzerland to improve our printers.
- Administrative tasks as required to support service processes and reporting.
- Continual learning and personal development to establish and maintain technical qualifications.
Hours / Travel:
This full-time role is based from your home and will require regular travel ranging from approximately 40% to 75% of the time. Employee will be responsible to make their own travel arrangements and may retain any earned travel points or benefits.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Profound mechanical and electrical background
- Experience in installing and servicing printers is preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills; ability to deal effectively with customers.

- Strong general computing skills; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Outlook
