Travel Registered Nurse NICU Job

NICU RN Level II travel assignment in Westwood, New Jersey. Start date 05/04/2026 for an undetermined number of weeks, working 3x12-hour night shifts in a five-bed NICU II unit at a community hospital. Weekly pay ranges from $1,489 to $1,505 per week with no guaranteed hours. This travel opportunity requires NICU clinical proficiency and Epic charting experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside care to neonates in NICU II, including assessment, monitoring, and interventions for common conditions (hypoglycemia, hyperbilirubinemia, RDS, TTN, NAS, prematurity) and participation in resuscitation as needed.
- Manage respiratory support for neonates using Bubble CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and ventilator modes as ordered.
- Handle vascular access and line care (UAC/UVC, central lines), perform blood draws, and maintain strict infection control.
- Support feeding and nutrition (Gavage/OG/NG tube placement and management; breastfeeding support) and monitor glucose and nutritional status.
- Ensure thermoregulation and bilirubin management (phototherapy) and assist with sepsis workups and neonatal dosing calculations; document care in Epic.

Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS and NRP certifications (NRP Advanced and STABLE listed)
- Preferred: 2 years NICU experience; NICU II/neonates 29–34 weeks
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts; travel eligibility: locals within 50 miles are not accepted (Tier 2 travel compliance)
