**Box and Label Manufacturing Company Urgently Hiring Assistant Machine Operators in Wayne, NJ on overnight shift!**
**Location:** Wayne, NJ
**Overnight Shift:** 6pm-4am (Monday-Friday, plus weekends)
**Pay:** $21/hour ; Overtime: $30.50/hour (A Lot of Overtime is available)
**Job Description**
As a Cutting Machine Operator Helper, you will be responsible for operating sheet-fed cutting equipment such as Bobst 162 CER, Bobst 1600 ER, Bobst 103, and Bobst 126-BMA. Your role will include performing make-readies, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs, while ensuring all job setups are verified before press operation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate sheet-fed cutting equipment efficiently and safely.
+ Perform make-readies and preventive maintenance on machines.
+ Conduct minor repairs and maintain lubrication of press equipment.
+ Verify job setups before initiating the feeding process.
+ Inspect pallets and complete quality checklists.
+ Record time and material usage in the PEAK system.
+ Operate with inline embossing as required.
+ Perform hand packing tasks as needed.
+ Complete other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in machine operation and basic mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to safely and efficiently operate cutting equipment to process printed products.
+ High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
+ Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
+ Proficient in basic arithmetic, fractions, decimals, and interpreting bar graphs.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Manufacturing experience preferred.
+ Experience with hand jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts preferred.
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
+ Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
+ Company-issued Fork Truck Operator's

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
