Analytical Chemist Intern - Summer 2026
What you’ll do
- Be part of Henkel’s Adhesive Innovation team, gaining exposure to a wide range of technologies and business areas
- Support the development of cutting-edge analytical solutions to enable product innovation and safety
- Contribute to the expansion of Henkel’s analytical database to support digital transformation initiatives
- Assist in the automation of analytical workflows to improve efficiency and data reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytical insights into product development
- Apply your chemistry and computer skills to drive data-driven decision-making in sustainable adhesive technologies
What makes you a good fit
- A graduate student or PhD pursuing a degree in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Advanced knowledge in small molecules and synthetic polymer chemical structures characterization by analytical techniques such as GC-MS, LC-MS, NMR, etc.
- High proficiency with practical lab experience handling chemicals and expertise in analytical data processing software
- Skills in computer programs and languages are highly desired
- A quick learner and team player who pays attention to details and maintains accurate records and documentation

Additional information
- This internship is eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.
- Henkel’s Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27th, 2026, and runs through mid-August.
- Recruitment for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all our positions are filled.

The salary for this role is $29-$37/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
