Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Denville, New Jersey (07834)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing – Cath Lab RN
• Unit: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
• Duration: 13-week contract (Nov 30, 2025 – Feb 28, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250 per week
• Shift Options:
• 4 x 10-hour shifts (6:30am – 5:30pm)
• 5 x 8-hour shifts (6:30am – 2:30pm)

• On-Call: 10-15 on-call shifts per month for STEMI/Stroke coverage

  Cath Lab RN Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Nursys verification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
  • NIHSS certification required
  • Completion of onboarding exams: Pharmacology, Rhythm Interpretation, Core Competencies, Skills Checklist, Specialty Exam
  • Current immunizations and health screenings: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement
  • Background check and employment eligibility verification
  • Valid Driver's License or State ID
  • Resume and two professional references

  Registered Nurse Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including pre- and post-procedure monitoring
  • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures and cardiovascular interventions
  • Respond to STEMI and stroke emergencies as part of the on-call nursing team
  • Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
