Job description:

• Looking to hire a strong Angular developer to lead the rewrite of a tier 3 application from Vaadin -> Angular.
• ~ 10 years of experience or plus with relevant expertise as noted below.
• Preferably, the person has prior experience as a feature lead, architect, or similar role in leading teams of contractors to design, develop, and implement Java and Angular projects end-to-end.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are required as this app is highly visible in the GFC app stack, and people will regularly need to report on status and interact with senior/management-level leaders.
• Experience with React and Angular will be a plus as we look to assess the right framework to upgrade to in Q4 this year.
• Experience with MongoDB will be a big plus

Job Description:

• Responsible for developing complex requirements, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in Financial Crimes technology to accomplish business goals.
• Software developers design, code, test, debug, and document programs as well as support activities for maintaining the application. Work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications.
• Typically requires 10+ years of applicable experience. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of business requirements, business environments, and technological alternatives to recommend innovations that enhance and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.
• Responsible for providing insight and direction from a data perspective, assessing impact on technology systems, and participating in the full development lifecycle of the capability being delivered.
• Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.
• Estimate the work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Perform proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. Set up and automatea continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline.
• Working closely with Production Support teams, Platform teams and Business Partners, this person handles technical aspects of the application, including Change Management, Maintenance, Platform Upgrades, and Changes to requirements from both upstream and downstream interfacing applications. Promoting and applying best practices and standards at a project, program level.
• Partners with the business to develop plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Accountable for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches, and facilitating implementation.
• Effectively communicates with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables and timelines. Responsible for being Agile and following agile practices. In parallel, ensure all Enterprise Change Standards are met.

Requirements:

• Expertise in Web Application development using ReactJS and Java Spring.
• Strong Programming skills in building multi-tier applications using Spring BOOT 5.x.
• Strong experience in RESTful Web services.
• Strong knowledge in Spring core Dependency injection, Annotations, and Configurations.
• Knowledge and experience in Java, Spring, JPA, Hibernate, Spring JDBC, Node.js
• Knowledge in HTML5, CSS3, JQuery,and Redux.
• Web Container Tomcat 9.0 and higher, JBoss, Apache 2.4.x
• Database - Oracle 19c
• Experience in Maven 3.0
• Strong SQL knowledge and data analysis skills
• Experience in tuning process and SQL.
• Familiarity and experience with Autosys scheduler
• Experience in Unix shell scripting
• Strong working experience in Agile methodology
• Working experience with Autosys or other Schedular tools
• Good experience in SDLC, Agile, Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery, and change management - Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible

Education:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
