Job Title: Armed Security OfficerCompany: IronRock SecurityLocation: Lakewood NJPay Rate: $25-28/hourPosition Overview:IronRock Security is seeking a reliable and experienced Armed Security Officer with 5+ years of armed security experience to oversee access control at higher education center in Lakewood, NJ. This role requires a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and prior experience with access control. The guard will help ensure site coverage, support fellow officers, and maintain a safe environment for staff and students.Responsibilities:Manage and monitor access control pointsConduct regular patrols of the residential propertyWrite clear incident and daily activity reportsSupport scheduling coordination and communicate staffing needsMaintain a professional and customer-friendly presenceRespond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies appropriatelyRequirements:Previous security experience required5+ years of law enforcement and/or armed security experienceAccess control experience requiredSORA LicenseValid driver's license (required for periodic mobile patrols)Strong communication and report-writing skillsReliable, punctual, and professional demeanorAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsCompensation & Benefits:$25-28/hourFull-time and part-time opportunities availableMedical insurance available to full-time employees working 30+ hoursIronRock pays 50% of the employee-only medical premiumBenefits begin the 1st of the month following 60 days of employmentDental & Vision insurance available (company contributes to employee rate)401(k) available after 1 year of employmentIronRock matches 10% of employee contributionsSupportive team environment and advancement opportunitiesTo Apply:Submit your resume with relevant security and access control experience.
