Essential Functions: The Screw Machine Operator will safely manage Screw Machines, ensuring equipment functions efficiently during the machining processes. The individual will adjust settings as necessary to accommodate diverse materials and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• To ensure production maintains accuracy and performance the operator adjusts tools precisely and configures machine settings, such as speed and feed, based on material requirements.
• The operator regularly inspects output using measuring tools like calipers and gauges to ensure quality. Any defects or issues are promptly addressed to minimize waste and maintain product integrity.
• Reading and comprehensively understanding job orders and technical documents is crucial for ensuring precise and effective task execution. This involves thoroughly reviewing all instructions and specifications, identifying key requirements, and interpreting any technical terminology.

Work Environment:

This position involves working in a manufacturing environment. The employee must be aware of potential hazards, including, but not limited to, working near moving mechanical parts, operating vehicles, exposure to electrical current, high temperatures, and chemicals. Maintaining high alertness and caution while performing tasks in this work environment is important.
