The essential duties of this position are:
1. Trim fingernails and toenails;
2. Clean, cut and shape nails;
3. Recommend colors, rhinestones and designs based on each customer’s style;
4. Remove previously applied polish;
5. Prepare and clean beauty station in-between appointments;
6. Sterilize equipment before use;
7. Inform clients about additional services and offers (e.g. loyalty discounts,
eyebrow waxing);
8. Give hand and foot massages;

9. Offer nail care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen nails and how to make
manicures last longer);
10. Up-sell treatments and beauty products, when appropriate
11. Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and
remembering their preferences);
12. Accept and schedule appointments and payments;
13. Maintain a clean work space;
14. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct;
15. Some computer skills are required. To perform this job successfully, an
individual should have knowledge of basic computer usage, ipad usage, cell
phone usage, word processing software, spreadsheet software, inventory software,
internet use, email, order processing systems, billing software, and various
computer programs/applications used by the Company and the Company’s
vendors
16. Data entry skill required;
17. Reasoning ability is required. Ability to apply common sense understanding to
carry out directives of the Company’s Owner;
18. Language skills are required. The individual must have an ability to read and
interpret documents such as customer records, instructions, and procedure
manuals. Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and patients;
19. Some physical ability is required. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds
20. Comply with all Company policies, including safety and ethics policies. Must
report any unsafe, unethical or unlawful activities to the Company’s Owner;
21. Attendance, and the ability to work in person at the Company’s worksite, are
required for this position; and
22. Perform other duties as assigned.
